Prior to her son
Seth’s birth, Holly Radke was employed as a Youth Case
Manager and Family Support Assistant through Youth Dynamics
Inc. in Sidney. Seth was born with a mysterious blood condition
that doctor’s at the Mayo clinic are still working on.
When they visit the Mayo Clinic they stay at the Ronald McDonald
house where Holly said her prior training and experience has
assisted her. Holly said it is especially hard to watch the
kids with leukemia, as they endure anxiety attacks and extreme
stress.
“I have been able to help some of the other children
and parents in a number of areas by using my knowledge in
working with children and families,” she said.

in which parents of terminal and other children have come
to her room in order to request assistance with their child’s
behavior.
She always finds time to sit down and talk she said, “It
makes me feel good. It’s rewarding to know that I can
help. I miss my job and helping the kids.” She continued,
“When one of the children is fighting going to yet another
appointment I find ways to assist.”
