Youth Dynamics (YDI) is a Montana non-profit with nearly 30 years experience serving youth (ages 0-18) with behavioral health issues. Founded in Billings, MT in 1981 as Volunteers of America, YDI originally offered only therapeutic foster care. Today, our foster care program is still strong and effective, but over time we have expanded our many services and locations.
We directly serve hundreds of rural and frontier communities through office and group home locations in Billings, Colstrip, Miles City, Glendive, Wolf Point, Glasgow, Malta, Havre, Great Falls, Shelby, Kalispell, Helena, Boulder, Butte, Dillon, Bozeman and Livingston.
Our services include individual and family therapy, case management, in-home family education and support, therapeutic foster care, respite care, therapeutic mentoring, shelter care, youth (group) home care (regular and, primarily, intensive-level therapeutic youth homes), equine-assisted therapy, substance abuse treatment, independent living skills, as well as services in Boulder, MT for youth with highly sexualized behaviors and/or youth who have committed sexual offenses.
