About Youth Dynamics: Overview
Mission Statement
YDI is proud to announce our new mission statement that more accurately reflects our purpose and work:
Youth Dynamics provides family focused behavioral health treatment founded on the principles of an actively caring culture in which people can realize their full potential.
Vision Statement
We are committed to providing comprehensive and progressive behavioral health services to meet the ever-changing needs of youth and families.
Guiding Principles and Values
We primarily serve youth with an SED (severely emotionally disturbed) diagnosis, such as Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Depression, or Reactive Attachment Disorder. Please feel free to call the office in your area to find out if our services are appropriate. We are guided in all our work by the following:
- Empowerment, Partnerships, Collaboration
- Open and Respectful Communication
- Individual and Family Strengths
- Individual Responsibility and Self-Determination
- Team Decision Making and Individualized Care
- Active Care and Treatment
The Continuum of Care
Not every child needs the same type or intensity of services. We offer a wide range of programs to help youth address problem behaviors and make progress toward goals. Youth and families needing less intense services may participate in mentoring, counseling, case management, or in-home support. For a higher level of care, therapeutic foster care and therapeutic group homes may be used.
