As we enter the holiday season, learn how to give the gift of mental health support to your loved ones through Youth Mental Health First Aid. This 8 hour program introduces participants to the unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems in youth. It builds an understanding of the importance of early intervention and teaches you how to help a youth in crisis. Mental Health First Aid is an engaging training that gives you tools to confidently help friends, family, neighbors and strangers experiencing challenges with their mental health!
This course is two days. Participants must attend both days to be certified.
The first day is Tuesday, November 14 from 1-5pm and the second day is Wednesday, November 15 from 8-11:30am
8 Renewal Units for teachers and 8 CEUs for LCPC, LCSW, and LACs will be offered.
