Associate Clinical Director for Community Services 

Rebecca Folkerts is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and an Associate Clinical Director at Youth Dynamics.  She grew up in Billings, but is currently based out of our Missoula Community Office. 

Rebecca first came to Youth Dynamics in 2014 because she wanted to get involved with an organization that helped children and families. Prior to YDI, she worked with adults at the Community Crisis Center in Billings.

Rebecca received a Bachelor of Psychology and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Montana in Missoula. She later completed a Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. In 2008, Rebecca became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She is the first person in her family to receive a bachelor’s or master’s degree. 

Currently, Rebecca supervises our Kalispell, Great Falls, Shelby, Butte, Missoula, and Hamilton Community Offices. In addition to supervising community services, Rebecca provides clinical supervision to our therapist licensure candidates, interns, and practicum students. 

Professionally, Rebecca is trained and experienced in trauma work, mindfulness, Common Sense Parenting, cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, and attachment. In her free time, Rebecca loves to read, watch football, go for walks, and spend time with her family and friends.
