“I started working with children right after I received my psychology degree. I didn’t really know what area I wanted to pursue, but I happened upon a job at a therapeutic boarding school for kids.

I felt like I was finally doing something that I really enjoyed. I really enjoyed working with kids. It was super challenging at times, and still is challenging at times, but it’s so satisfying when kids are able to develop coping skills or to work through trauma. I think that satisfaction is why I still enjoy doing it.”
