Respite Care is a service offered to many families we work with. Children struggling with major behavioral health issues often need a break from daily routine and ongoing relationship with parents or caregivers. Respite Care allows children to spend time with another adult or family — ranging from a few hours to a weekend — getting a “break,” without interrupting Treatment Plans. In addition, Respite Care allows parents a breather to tackle other issues, re-energize, or take alone/couples time. However Respite Care is used, Youth Dynamics Respite providers are screened and trained properly and are eager to welcome a child into their home for a short stay.
